As a visual storyteller Lan’s goal is ensuring brilliant ideas are communicated effectively and appealingly. Understanding her brief and her client is crucial for her, and with her multidisciplinary and multicultural background she builds productive, empathetic relationships quickly and easily.

  • Crafting compelling visual communications – visually strong one-page A3s, consultation documents, briefings, and submissions, for various agencies and projects including the Kaipara Moana Remediation and Rethinking Plastics in Aotearoa New Zealand
  • Improving user experience – Lan has conducted CX interviews and designed customer journey maps for significant reviews and projects, such as the Search and Rescue Review for the Ministry of Transport, a Migrant Exploitation Review for MBIE, and Hospice New Zealand
  • Designing engaging publications and visualisations – Lan has developed dynamic digital reports, user-friendly infographics, and engaging editorial designs for public-facing publications and strategic documents for organisations such as the NZ Law Society, Consumer NZ, and the Education Review Office.
