  • Leading a review of New Zealand’s digital trade settings, which involved leading extensive consultations across a range of stakeholders, and developing strategic trade policy principles for future negotiations
  • Leading a market study for the future of digital identities in New Zealand, which involved talking directly with stakeholders in the sector, and running economic analysis to assess the likely shape of a future market for digital identities
  • Developing the UK’s first Most Favoured Nation tariff since it joined the European single market in the 1970s – this involved managing commercial, government, and foreign diplomatic stakeholders, and balancing strategic objectives for trade and domestic industry with short-term objectives for economic growth.
