About the role

The Senior Business Support Assistant provides quality and timely administrative services to Partners, Directors, Managers, and Consulting staff and supports the smooth functioning of the office.

This role is a fixed term (six months) full-time position, based in our Auckland office.

In this role, you will be involved in:

  • Having sole charge for the day-to-day office and facilities tasks for a small office
  • Providing EA/PA support for a busy Senior Executive
  • Troubleshooting and onboarding/offboarding support of IT software and hardware for our Auckland based team (with support from the IT Lead and/or external IT provider when required)
  • Organising and supporting Auckland based workshops and events
  • Being part of a team who show a genuine commitment to a culture of openness and transparency with a solutions-focused, hands-on approach
  • Working in conjunction with other team members to efficiently manage the firm’s document support requirements, ensuring quality control to achieve the desired outcomes for our brand
  • Effectively operating all business processes and contributing to the teams’ innovative approach to making improvements which increase efficiency and performance
  • Supplying comprehensive project administration assistance to internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Providing effective and meaningful support to our IT, Marketing and Finance teams
  • Organising travel requests, ordering office consumables and assisting to maintain high standards within our Auckland workplace facilities

About you

These are the attributes and experience we are looking for:

  • 3+ years’ experience working in an administration role in a professional services environment
  • 1+ years’ experience providing EA/PA support to a senior executive
  • 1+ years' experience providing basic IT software/hardware support
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS, and Copilot, and an ability to learn to use other tools and software as required
  • A high level of competency in spelling, grammar, and attention to detail
  • A creative thinker who applies problem-solving skills and takes an innovative approach to tasks
  • An effective player whose excellent communication skills help ensure the efficient and effective delivery of the full range of administrative services

The full-time salary for this position ranges from $63,000 to $83,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
