Edna Bell
Edna has an empathetic, inclusive, and creative approach to improving ways of working in the workplace
Edna is known for her ability to create and shape positive change in workplaces. She’s a generalist in the people and culture field, with experience in health and safety, recruitment, managing change, payroll, culture, and organisational development.
Edna joined us in early 2022, eager to support our firm’s behind-the-scenes contributions to making Aotearoa New Zealand a better place. She brings knowledge of a diverse set of industries and fields spanning the government, private, and non-profit sectors, having had HR/people experience roles in areas such as trustee services, defence, recruitment consulting, and not-for-profit social services.
Edna has a BCom in HR Management and Industrial Relations. She is part of riders&elephants, a community of people on a mission to humanise the workplace.
Outside work Edna’s two children keep her busy, and watching them both play sport is always the highlight of her weekend. Edna is also taking lessons in le gagana Sāmoa (the Samoan language) with her sister.
